This challenging North-facing plot had very poor soil - which is typical of many new-build plots. A soil improvement programme together with sympathetic planting and lawn care have created a verdant space. Water features detract from nearby road noise and pleached trees provide privacy. 

Plants have been chosen with great care to thrive in shady conditions and to provide year-round interest with evergreen foliage or architectural seed heads in Winter and light reflecting foliage and blooms in Spring and Summer.
